One of my super powers is the ability to disappear when the picture taking starts. But for today's blog (woot, woot, Day 3!), we'll introduce you to DH (Dear Husband) and I.
Warm wooly beards is the look that DH will begin sporting soon as the temperatures start to drop. I can't blame him for trying to keep warm in SD winters so I withhold any beard opinions. Here we had escaped for the afternoon and had gone ice fishing just down the road from the farm.
This is my other personality - I also work in Information Technologies at a medical clinic. One thing I can almost guarantee - that I'm happily wearing a scarf from October through May. And that I'm not wearing a coat. Warm neck, warm body is my theory.
This scarf I actually made using arm knitting. I also know that one of my super powers is NOT knitting.
DH is the one on the right. Do I really need to say more?
Me, again. Just to prove that more than one picture of me exists. Oh, look - a scarf.
This is one of my favorite pictures. It is on my desk for the sole purpose of making me smile! The story behind the picture - we were out doing chores when Jay got a phone call that he sat down to take. Sara, the goat, would not leave him alone and iwas a giant pest towards him. Finally, I said, "Dear, she just wants her picture taken." At the exact time that Jay gives me the forced grin, Sara stops pestering, looks at the camera, and smiles. After she got what she wanted (her picture with DH) she wandered off and ignored him.
There's one more important farm person - Dear Grandaughter Sage! She is being trained from a to love the farm and all its critters. It seems to be working!
